McCarthy Speech-Language Services is a speech-language therapy practise that provides services to children with speech, language, and communication disorders.

McCarthy Speech-Language Services works with children ages 0-17

We offer both in clinic, virtual, and off-site (e.g. daycares, in-home) appointments. We work with families to determine the location that will provide the best environment for each child. There is an additional travel fee for off-site appointments, see our Fees page for additional information. 

McCarthy Speech Language Services is located in Gander, NL. We provide both in clinic and off site appointments to Gander and the surrounding area (within 100km distance of Gander, NL). We also provide virtual services to anyone residing in Newfoundland and Labrador. 

We do not require a formal referral. Just make contact with us directly and we’ll take it from there. You can either call us at 709-897-4701 or email us at mccarthyspeechlanguage@gmail.com 

*Please be aware that some insurance providers require a referral or letter from a physician in order to qualify for reimbursement 

The pricing of sessions is dependent on what is required. To get an idea of what kind of costs might be involved, please go to our Fees page. 

No we do not direct bill to insurance providers. Upon payment we will provide you with a receipt that can then be used to claim for reimbursement with your insurance provider.

We accept credit and bank transfers. 

Yes, you can claim our services on your tax return.
